We saw this model of electric eye auto-opening trash can at our Dentist's office. After the 3rd or 4th visit I knew I wanted one. His was probably 10/12/14 gallons, we opted for this one for the bathroom. It fits perfectly and actually holds more than the SimpleLife model we had there. Added functionality is an OPEN button which will hold the lid open until you press the CLOSE button and a retaining ring to hold the trash bag securely. Nice touches. A little pricey for a trash can but Amazon had a great price.

This stainless steel can is everything they say it is and more. Expensive but worth it. I only wish there was a size in between the 7 gallon and the 13 gallon as I don't have enough room for the height of the 13 gallon but would prefer a larger can.

this is the worst customer svc for the can. if you encounter an issue and have to deal with the co directly do not get this can. terrible... they take at least 5 days to get back with you and then they charge for every little issue. even if it's on their end, they charge you for the to and rtn postage. not worth the trouble.

I love this garbage can! It is the perfect size for our family. We are recyclers and use this trash can for anything that cannot be recycled so we prefer a smaller can. We have not had a problem with automatic lid. It opens every time. No hesitation. My 4 year old calls it Trashy and likes to say hello to it so it will say hello back. (That lasted the first week. He's not doing it so much now.) Also, I really like the steel can. It matches our stainless steel appliances, and is easy to keep clean.
I would highly recommend this product.

This trash can isn't marketed as a diaper pail, but it should be. Already fans of the 13-gallon version, we decided on a pair of these for diaper disposal. We are familiar with many of the popular diaper pails, and the iTouchless has several advantages. Its automatic operation and wide opening mean that you can toss in the messiest diapers without messing the can. And if you do have an "accident", it is easy to clean. It uses standard 8-gallon trash bags, so there's no need to buy special (and expensive) liners.
